Associate Veterinarian
A Cape Coral native, Dr. Sharon Rae Lomnicki’s path to veterinary medicine reflects her diverse talents and dedication to learning. After graduating from Cape Coral High School, her swimming prowess earned her a scholarship to Henderson State University, where she completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education. She began her professional journey as a teacher at Mariner High School, but after two years, her passion for animal care led her to pursue veterinary medicine at St. Matthew’s University.
Following her veterinary degree, Dr. Lomnicki spent six years practicing in Western New York, building her expertise and experience. Eventually, the warmth of Florida’s sunshine and the pull of home brought her back to Cape Coral with her husband and their beloved pets – two dogs, Newton and Charlie, and their cats, CayLee and Duncan. When not caring for patients, she embraces the Florida lifestyle through pickleball, swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, and fishing. Dr. Lomnicki takes special pride in serving the community that shaped her, bringing skilled and compassionate care to Cape Coral’s pets and their families.
